I wonder why we're inclined to let animals like that chew on our fingers. what is it in our nature that causes us to use our own fingers. it seems totally unclean, and yet if we love an animal, it's absolutely not an issue. I just think there's a real show of soul and spirit, having that bird put its incredibly impressive beak around the finger like that. obviously it does something for it, and you're happy to oblige. it shows a lot more to me than just evolutionary survival. we get something really intense from bonding with other creatures. that's kind of amazing. be well, all
